Pricing Policy
Is it true that prices are raised before sales?
Such practices are not used in our shop and go against our policy. Applying a higher price as well as a discounted price at the same time is against the law. Any changes to prices happen before an item is put up for sale - which is why sometimes an item has two prices - a lower price stuck over a higher price.
Price tags are printed long before an item is introduced into our stores' collection. The reason for two different prices is the repricing of a product before it is put up for sale. Prices can be changed either up or down. There can be many reasons for this including economic factors, changes in currency exchange rates, transport costs, hidden production costs and even human error. In such cases the new correct price is stuck over the old price.
